The Brotherland has over a decades experience playing in and around the southeast. Davis Sandling has been singing beatles songs to his mother since he was a child and that love for music only grew stronger after picking up a guitar. Skip and Craig Blankley grew up together with music all around them and soon found themselves sharing the stage behind their favorite instruements. Jim Ferguson is an accomplished musician with a solo album and many songs of his own, his bass style fits just right with the Brotherland. Kyle Bennett studies music at Georgia State University and is certainly one of the most talented keys players among his peers. His jazzy style brings a beautiful tone to an already dynamic group.
“The Brotherland delivers their own unique sound with a genre-bending power punch, offering up a mixture of blues, r&b, pop and rock. Reminiscent of the masters before them, the musicianship displayed by all of the members, cannot help but bring comparisons to Stevie Ray Vaughn and The Black Crowes. Of special note are the lyrically rich songs, which are delivered flawlessly by front man, Davis Sandling and guitarist, Craig Blankley, who is perhaps one of the best, young guitarist I’ve seen in the Atlanta music scene in quite some time.”

“Starving for a musical snack? Feast your ears on the tasty nuggets of the Brotherland. This four piece is a blues inspired rock band with all the fun of the Allman brothers, the talent of John Mayer, and the
cohesiveness of the Black Crowes. Anyone searching for their next favorite local band should check
out the Brotherland. You will be a fan before you know it, be grooving along before you can stop it,
and be in love with the music after your very first date!”
